Planet Biomes
A planet's Biome defines its ecological identity, categorizing the specific plants and animals that thrive within.
Each planet’s biome is a fundamental attribute determined entirely by chance during the initial minting process. Because these biomes are randomly generated, they establish a unique set of resource potentials and growth constraints for every planet from the moment it is created. Players must learn to adapt their development tactics to the specific environmental hand they’ve been dealt, as the biome will naturally influence how effectively the planet handles food production and population expansion.
Types of Biomes
There are 14 distinct biome types currently identified:
Type 1: 4 biomes
Type 2: 4 biomes
Type 3: 4 biomes
Type 4: 2 biomes
Type 1 Biomes
Type 1 biomes have environments are characterized by extreme conditions—ranging from tectonic instability to toxic atmospheres. While they are the most frequently encountered during the minting process, their low food production and limited population capacity make them challenging starting points for new colonies.
Barren
A lifeless world of stone and dust, shaped by time and isolation, with little atmosphere and almost no natural resources.
Volcanic
A fiery planet of lava rivers and erupting mountains, rich in geothermal energy but dangerous for long-term settlement.
Noxis
A toxic world filled with poisonous gases and unstable terrain, where survival depends on advanced technology and protection.
Irradion
A radiation-scarred planet glowing with unstable cosmic energy, offering rare materials at extreme risk to its inhabitants.
Type 2 Biomes
Type 2 biomes represent "frontier" worlds. They are habitable but possess significant environmental bottlenecks, such as extreme temperatures or difficult terrain. Players will find moderate growth potential here, though maximizing resources requires careful management.
Tundra
A frozen wasteland of ice and snow, where harsh winds and endless winters challenge every form of life.
Desert
A scorching planet of endless sand and blazing sunlight, with scarce water and extreme temperature shifts.
Swamp
A murky world of wetlands and thick mist, hiding rich nutrients, dangerous creatures, and unstable ground.
Arid
A dry, rocky planet with limited rainfall and sparse vegetation, requiring careful resource management to survive.
Type 3 Biomes
Highly sought after by explorers, Type 3 biomes offer lush landscapes and stable climates. These planets provide a significant boost to food production and can support large-scale populations, making them the backbone of any powerful galactic empire.
Cavernous
A planet filled with massive underground tunnels and ancient caves, rich in minerals and hidden ecosystems.
Grassland
An open world of wide plains and fertile soil, supporting steady growth and expanding civilizations.
Tropical
A lush planet of dense jungles and vibrant wildlife, offering abundant resources in a warm, humid climate.
Terran
A balanced world with varied climates and stable ecosystems, ideal for long-term settlement and development.
Type 4 Biomes
Type 4 biomes are the crown jewels of the galaxy. With near-perfect ecological balance, they offer the highest possible bonuses to population growth and resource output. Minting a Type 4 planet provides a massive strategic advantage and a high-value asset for any fleet.
Ocean
A water-covered planet of deep seas and floating habitats, rich in marine resources and hidden depths.
Gaia
A perfect living world overflowing with harmony and life, where nature, energy, and civilization exist in balance.
