Planet Status
A Planet’s Status determines whether it is a functioning part of your empire or a dormant asset in your collection. Understanding how to toggle between these two states is essential for managing your resources and maximizing your daily returns.
The Two States: Active vs. Inactive
Every Planet exists in one of two conditions, which dictates its productivity and interaction with the game world:
-
Active: The planet is "live" on your dashboard. It consumes energy, utilizes workers, and most importantly, generates FDS for you.
-
Inactive: The planet is safely stored in your Inventory. While it remains under your ownership, all progress, growth, and production are paused.
Activation Rules
Your ability to activate a planet depends on your available Active Planet Slots and your history in the game:
-
The First Planet: To ensure a smooth start, your very first minted planet is automatically activated.
-
Subsequent Planets: Any planets obtained after your first will remain Inactive by default. You must manually decide when to activate or deactivate them.
-
Slot Management: If your Active Planet Slots are full, you must deactivate a currently active planet before you can activate a new one.
Status Capabilities Comparison
The following table breaks down what your planet can and cannot do based on its current status:
| Capability | Active State | Inactive State |
| Stored in Inventory | Yes | Yes |
| Build Structures | Yes | No |
| Generate Food | Yes | No |
| Generate FDS | Yes | No |
| Generate Energy | Yes | No |
| Progress/Growth Tracking | Yes | No |
Note: Deactivating a Planet is a strategic move used to swap in a world with better Mineral Density or a more favorable Biome for your current goals
Active Planet Slots
The number of Planets you can operate simultaneously is governed by your Active Planet Slots. While you can own an unlimited number of planet NFTs, only those assigned to an active slot will contribute to your FDS production.
The number of available slots is directly tied to your Freedom Influence level. As you increase your influence within the ecosystem, your capacity to manage multiple Planets expands.
Slot Allocation & Freedom Influence
Your administrative reach grows alongside your progress. The formula for unlocking new Planets is straightforward: Every 2 levels of Freedom Influence grants you 1 Active Planet Slot.
