Planet Workforce

The Planet Workforce is the engine that drives your planetary economy. While Structures provide the framework for production, it is your population that brings them to life. Managing where your citizens work is the most critical daily task for a planet governor, as it directly determines the balance between colony growth and FDS yield.

Workforce Allocation & Slots

A planet’s population is organized into Working Slots, making it easy to manage even the largest planetary civilizations.

• Slot Scaling: Each individual slot represents 1 Billion of your planet's population.

• Multiplier Effects: Not all slots are equal. Each slot can have a different multiplier, representing specialized training, technological integration, or regional efficiencies.

• Full Control: As the user, you have total authority to determine where to allocate your workers. You can move them between sectors to adapt to your current strategic needs.

Operational Rules

• Structure Independence: Unlike Structures (which require workers to function), Workers can function without structures. However, their productivity is significantly boosted when assigned to the appropriate facility.

• Initial Assignment: To ensure your colony doesn't collapse upon arrival, workers on a newly minted planet are automatically assigned to Food Production.

• Sector Types: Workers can be toggled between two primary sectors:

  1. Food Structures: To drive population growth and reach your planet's max capacity.

  2. Industrial Structures: To maximize the extraction and generation of FDS.
