The Cube

The Cube is The Scape's item crafting and recycling system. Through its hexagonal interface, you can combine materials to craft powerful new gear — or break down unwanted wearables to recover raw materials.

🔨 How to Craft

Step 1 — Open The Cube

Tap the Tools icon in the bottom-right corner of your screen, then select the Craft tab.

Step 2 — Browse Available Items

The system will show available blueprints based on the materials you currently have. Items you can craft are highlighted with the craftable amount shown on the right.

Step 3 — Craft Your Item

Tap the item you want to craft. You'll see the required materials displayed in the hexagonal slots, along with the item's rarity and stats. Choose the quantity and press Craft.

Step 4 — Collect Your Item

Your new item will appear in your inventory shortly. It may briefly show as "Pending" before activating.

What Can You Craft?

Available Now ✅

Gear (Wearables) — Weapons, armor, and accessories with gameplay stats. Crafting gives you another way to obtain gear alongside battle drops and other in-game rewards.

Materials are collected from playing The Scape and come in three tiers:

Tier 1

Biogel · Nano-Circuits · Durasteel · Obsidian

Tier 2

Adamantium · Aetherstone · Neurofiber Mesh · Plasmic Fluid

Tier 3

Biosynthetic Resin · Ceramite · Quantum Processor Chip · Voidsteel Alloy

Higher-tier gear requires rarer materials. Keep playing to build up your collection!

♻️ How to Salvage

Step 1 — Open Salvage

Open The Cube → Select the Salvage tab at the top.

Step 2 — Confirm Your Salvage

Choose a wearable from your inventory, view the possible rewards, then tap Confirm.

Step 3 — Collect Your Materials

After salvaging is complete, your materials will appear in your inventory shortly.

What do you get back?

You receive 1–6 types of materials per salvage
Higher-rarity items return more material types — Rare and above are guaranteed at least 2 types
Exact drops are randomized within the item's rarity tier

What happens to the item?

Your NFT is securely transferred to Freedom World's custody wallet — it is not burned. Every transfer is logged on-chain for full transparency.

⚠️ Salvaging is permanent. Once confirmed, the wearable cannot be recovered. Make sure you're ready before confirming.

A future update will introduce card upgrading — evolve your cards into more powerful, higher-tier versions. Stay tuned!

Salvage duplicate or low-value gear to fuel your next craft
Higher-rarity salvage = better material haul — save valuable items for when you need a big material boost
Check your materials inventory before crafting so you know what you can build

❓ FAQ

Can I craft Pets or Consumables right now?

Not yet — these are coming in a future update. You'll see the filter tabs in the UI already, but only Gear is craftable for now.

Does salvaging destroy my NFT?

No. Your NFT is transferred to a secure custody wallet, not burned. The transaction is fully traceable on-chain.

What if crafting fails?

Your input materials are safely returned or held in a "Pending" state — you won't lose anything.

Can I salvage Pets or Cards?

Currently, only wearables (gear) can be salvaged.

Where do I find materials?

Play The Scape! Materials drop from battles and exploration.
