Freedom World - Shipping Policy for Freedom
This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) governs the terms relating to the dispatch, delivery, and receipt of goods purchased by Users (“User,” “you,” or “your”) through the Freedom World platform operated by Freedomverse Company Limited (“Freedomverse,” “Company,” “we,” or “us”). This Policy forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions of the Platform.
1. Order Processing
1.1 Orders are processed only upon receipt of full payment confirmation.
1.2 Standard processing timelines are between two (2) and five (5) Business Days, excluding weekends and public holidays, unless otherwise stated at the point of sale.
1.3 Processing times may be extended in cases of high demand, stock shortages, or compliance checks required under Applicable Law.
2. Shipping Methods and Charges
2.1 Shipping methods, estimated timelines, and applicable charges shall be displayed at checkout prior to confirmation of purchase.
2.2 All shipping charges, duties, taxes, and import levies imposed by the destination jurisdiction shall be borne exclusively by the User unless otherwise expressly stated by the Company or the Seller.
2.3 From time to time, the Company or the Seller may offer free or subsidised shipping promotions, which shall be subject to the terms of such promotions.
3. Delivery Timelines
3.1 Delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary due to courier delays, customs clearance procedures, or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Company or the Seller.
3.2 Indicative timelines are as follows:
(a) Domestic deliveries within India: five (5) to ten (10) Business Days after dispatch.
(b) International deliveries: ten (10) to thirty (30) Business Days after dispatch, subject to courier availability and customs clearance.
4. Tracking of Shipments
4.1 Upon dispatch, Users shall, where available, receive tracking details by email or through the Platform.
4.2 Tracking availability is dependent upon the courier engaged and may not be available in all cases.
5. Risk of Loss and Title
5.1 Risk of loss, damage, or delay shall pass to the User upon delivery of the goods to the courier or shipping provider.
5.2 Title to the goods shall pass to the User only upon successful delivery at the address provided by the User, subject to full payment.
6. Delays, Force Majeure, and Non-Performance
6.1 The Company shall not be liable for delays or failure in delivery caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, acts of government, network disruptions, customs delays, or force majeure events.
6.2 In such cases, the Company shall provide reasonable assistance to the User to mitigate delays, but shall not be held liable for consequential damages.
7. Damaged, Missing, or Lost Goods
7.1 If an order arrives damaged, incomplete, or is lost in transit, the User shall notify Freedom Customer Support within seven (7) days of actual or expected delivery, providing supporting evidence (including photographs, if applicable).
7.2 Remedies shall be provided in accordance with the Freedom World Universal Return Policy, which forms part of the Terms and Conditions.
8. Compliance with Indian Law (for Indian Users)
8.1 For Users residing in India or transacting through Indian payment platforms (including but not limited to Cashfree Payments), this Policy shall be read in conjunction with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-commerce) Rules, 2020.
8.2 The Seller (being the merchant listing the goods) shall be deemed responsible for delivery, quality, and fulfillment obligations. Freedomverse operates solely as an intermediary platform and shall not be deemed the seller of goods or services for Indian Users.
8.3 All disputes arising in connection with delivery of goods to Indian Users shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
