Freedom World - Universal Return Policy

Freedomverse Company Limited (“Freedomverse”, “Company”, “we”, or “us”) is committed to ensuring a fair, consistent, and transparent return experience for Users of the Freedom World platform (the “Platform”). This Return Policy (“Policy”) sets out the types of returns permitted, the conditions for eligibility, the process for initiating a return, and the applicable refund procedures. This Policy forms part of, and shall be read together with, our Terms and Conditions.

1. Return Types

1.1 Defective or Incorrect Item Returns: If an item is received in a defective condition or is materially different from what was ordered, it qualifies for a defective/incorrect return. The User must provide supporting evidence (e.g., photographs, written description) to enable timely verification. Upon verification, Freedomverse will arrange for or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.
1.2 Change of Mind Returns: Users may return eligible items within seven (7) days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by intact labels and/or seals. Freedomverse reserves the right to decline Change of Mind returns for certain high-value items or high-risk goods (e.g., electronics, luxury items) where tamper-evident packaging has been opened. Note: A restocking fee may apply. Change of Mind returns are not permitted for digital goods, vouchers, tickets, memberships, consumables, or other non-returnable categories as set out in this Policy. Users bear all shipping costs for Change of Mind returns.

 

2. Return Eligibility
2.1 Return Window: Change of Mind Returns: within seven (7) days of receipt.
Defective/Incorrect Item Returns: must be reported and returned within ten (10) days of receipt.
2.2 Condition Requirements: Returns items must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by all tags and seals. Items returned in altered, damaged, or incomplete condition may be rejected.
2.3 Non-Returnable Items: Digital goods, health or hygiene products, consumable, vouchers, tickets, memberships, and other redeemable items are strictly non-returnable.


3. Return Procedure
3.1 Initiating a Return: Users must submit a written request to Freedom Customer Support at support@freedom.world including the order ID, item details, and reason for the return. For defective/incorrect returns, supporting photographs and a description must be provided.

3.2 Processing: Freedomverse will liaise with the seller on behalf of the User. Users are not required to contact sellers directly.


4. Resolution and Mediation
4.1 Seller Response Period: Sellers are provided with a defined period to respond to return requests. If no response is received, Freedomverse reserves the right to determine the outcome unilaterally.

4.2 Mediation and Final Decision: Freedomverse acts as the final mediator in return disputes. All determinations made by Freedomverse under this Policy are final and binding on Users and sellers.


5. Return Shipping Costs
5.1 Change of Mind Returns: Shipping costs shall be borne solely by the User, unless otherwise agreed by the seller. Restocking fees may apply for certain categories.

5.2 Defective or Incorrect Returns: Freedomverse shall bear or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs once the defect/incorrectness is verified.


6. Refund Process and Timelines
6.1 General Refunds: Refunds are initiated within five (5) to seven (7) business days following verification of the returned item. For high-value items or complex claims, processing may extend to ten (10) business days. Refunds are credited to the User’s original payment method.

6.2 India-Specific Timelines: For India-based transactions, refund crediting timelines may extend to sixteen (16) to thirty (30) days due to local banking and payment gateway regulations.
6.3 Defective/Incorrect Items: Users are entitled to reimbursement of the purchase price and verified return shipping costs once the defect is confirmed.


7. Dispute Resolution
In the event of disagreement regarding return eligibility, refund entitlement, or shipping costs, Freedomverse shall act as final arbiter. The decision of Freedomverse shall be binding on all parties to ensure consistency, consumer protection, and avoidance of prolonged disputes.


8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
For Users residing in India or transacting through Indian platforms (including Cashfree Payments), this Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-commerce) Rules, 2020. All disputes arising in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

For Users in all other jurisdictions, the governing law and dispute resolution provisions set out in the applicable Terms and Conditions shall apply.
